Assing static IP to a particular live stream

I want to know if it is possible to assign a static IP to a specific live stream instead of having a new IP everytime I start a stream.

Hello,

The IP address is tied to the VHost level, not Application or Stream levels. So at this time, you’d have to create a separate VHost for each custom stream to designate it to a specific IP.

It sounds more like you’re having issues with the IP address changing though. Are you using a Cloud based instance? Most of these do change IP’s when you stop and restart the instance but offer options to assign a static IP (Elastic IP) to your instance to keep it from changing each time.

Andrew, first of all thank you for your response.

I am using the wowza cloud for supporting all my streams. According to what i see in your answer, they can provide me a static IP (Elastic IP), so where I can configure it?
