I’m trying to open a live stream on an Android phone, Samsung Galaxy Spica I5700 .
Both Meridian player and Stream Media Player fail to open stream. In WMS logs, I can see fast connect/disconnect events.
The live stream works with VLC. FYI, I’ve followed this …

It works with VLC but with phone, no way to reach the stream

I don’t see your access in the logs, can you please try again.
And try with VLC too, this way I can compare.
BTW, at this moment I’m only try with this phones.
Motorola Droid, HTC G1, Blackberry 9000 and 8520
The spec is basically the same than iPhone. H264 Baseline Profile 3.0, AAC Audio.

Hi other users are reported than is Working on Nexus without problem, on Tattoo I don’t know.
please try again and tell me what is your IP I’ll check the logs for get more information.

I tried your link on the HTC Tattoo and it did not work. I created a Wowza stream application on 554 so that the default rtsp url is used but this didn’t wortk either. I have heard mixed results from our app developer, it is working on one Android phone, I can’t recall the model but it definately isn’t working on the Nexus or Tattoo

It works on my Nexus One. I had to remove the port number “:1935” from the rtsp link. It works with the port in VLC.
