Add new application without web manager

hello,

Running 4.1.0.01 i have noticed that if add application manually using creating folder inside ‘conf’ folder and ‘applications’ folder this new application not appear automatically

in the application list inside web manager .

there a index file for application list or manager simply read the contents of ‘applications’ folder then show the list in the manager ?

i need obligatory add a new application using manager ?

thanks

steve

Hi steve, in wowza 4.1 the Rest api documentation area released.

Access reference documentation for the REST API

I guess you’ll need to call rest api while adding new application to see in application list. As I understand your question, the application list isn’t generated by folder reading , it takes value from sqllite or equivalent.
