AC3Utils.decodeAC3Frame: Problem decoding advanced AC3 params (ignore)

Hi, there

i have a mpeg2+ac3 mpegts stream transcoded in wowza, and the mpegtsImportAC3 / transcoder audio passthrough all configured, but there are “AC3Utils.decodeAC3Frame: Problem decoding advanced AC3 params (ignore)” in the log files, why this happened when the passthrough setted up?

Hi,

Are you using the transcoder, and have your encoder template configured to passthru for the audio? It must be set to ‘passthru’ and not ‘aac’ as the Transcoder doesn’t support decode/encode of the ac3 stream.
