I used wowza’s nDVR function, but shaka Player could not play HLS DVR real-time stream

I can try and help you here. HLS is not a real-time streaming protocol. It will always have some latency as the playback requires a certain amount of segments before it will begin.

Also and perhaps even more importantly:

  1. Shaka Player is a JavaScript library from Google that delivers audio and video content to any type of device using MPEG-DASH streaming.

  2. Captions and DVR playback aren’t supported in Shaka Player.
