5 gbps limit, wowza 4 and java 8

Hi,

Im currently using wowza 3 with 10 Gbps servers (using two wowza java instances per server because the limit of 5 gbps).

This limit is caused by java or OS limit?

if is java limit, this is fixed in java 8?

also wowza 4 works with java 8? (load tested using high load?)

Thanks

The limitation is java based and can be surpassed with significant tuning and resources available. I think the same applies with java 1.8. Wowza 4 should work fine with this version of Java.

currently i use two instances of wowza to bypass the limit, but i readed in the forum about things like irqbalance to tune the server and bypass this limit, but i want to be 100% sure about what i need to tune to get the 8gbps performance using only 1 instance per server (i have good hardware and centos 6)

Thanks
