Hi,

Does anyone know what youtube uses to stream their “HD” content? Is it mp4 videos? It’s definitely http streaming.

I tried using Nginx, but when I server mp4 videos seeking is slow, whereas with youtube it’s fast.

Can Wowza be as fast as youtube in seeking mp4 high quality videos?

Thanks for your advice

Not sure about Youtube. But you can try out Flash HTTP with Wowza here:

Silverlight Smooth seeking is very fast, I think FlashHTTP will be comparable.
