Hi,

What will be the best practice in terms of configuration and number of servers in order to support ~20 live streams and ~5000 concurrent consumers?

Can you add more details on your use case. Are you deployed on cloud servers? Are all viewers coming from Wowza or are you using a CDN? Are you transcoding?

Hi Anthony,

Thanks for taking the time to reply.

Regarding your questions:

1. My Wowza servers will be deployed on-premise.

2. No transcoding will be performed on the live stream. My IP cameras will stream the video to the Wowza servers, and the clients will connect directly to the live stream (over RTMP?) and watch the live video.

I hope that my answers explain my use case. Will be happy to explain more if needed.
