# Wowza Streaming Engine Health Check Configuraation

Hi, we are deploying the Wowza Streaming Engine (Edge Mode) behind the Load Balancer, we want to know what’s the best approach to configure the health check settings.

I believe health checks are normally configured on http or https which will send back a 200 response. Check to see what service ports you have open for http/https and try that. Commonly port 80 is used or perhaps you can also make use of http://[_wowza-ip-address_]:1935/ServerVersion
