I’m testing the origin-edge format with Wowza Streaming Engine 4.7.8, streaming to an embedded JWPlayer. The problem I’m having is that when I stop the stream and play it again, the captions start over again, printing the same lines from when I first started the stream rather than the captions for the current timecode. My thought was that JWPlayer might be caching the captions somehow, but I’m not sure. Thoughts? ---

Tech support would need a ticket on this to run some tests and determine if it’s on our end or JW Player as far as why it’s not obeying the timestamps.
