# Wowza Streaming Cloud Latency Issue

In the last few days, I have been following this tutorial

[https://www.wowza.com/docs/how-to-reduce-latency-in-apple-hls-stream-targets-with-wowza-streaming-cloud](https://www.wowza.com/docs/how-to-reduce-latency-in-apple-hls-stream-targets-with-wowza-streaming-cloud)

to get a low latency stream via Wowza Streaming Cloud. But even if I already set the segment into 2 seconds, it sill gave us 30 seconds latency delay. Can somebody help me to go through step by step to reduce this latency issue to maybe around 10 seconds? Is it possible to reduce this latency issue in WSC?

Dickson,

Are you connecting to WC with RTMP? What are you using to playback the HLS from Cloud? The URL or the Hosted Player?

You are correct your latency should be much shorter than 30 seconds.

Tighten the playlist up to just 3 segments. Also try more that one browser.
