# Wowza sending 403 responses

Hello,
We are seeing a condition on Wowza Media Server where occasionally we get a large number of 403 errors served. However we’re not able to locate these in any log on the server itself. When we look back through the access log, we only find 200s:

And there are no instances of errors for this particular stream in the error logs for that day either.
Any recommendations on what could be causing 403 errors on a stream that is constantly running? No modifications are being made to the URL. I should mention this is an older version of WMS, 2.2.4, which unfortunately cannot be upgraded in this environment.

Please zip up your /conf and /log folders and send them, along with a link to this thread as a reference to support@wowza.com
