Hi

we are using a standalone wowza 4.2 server with a cache storage on S3 (via s3fs, yeah I know)

We would like to have a better stack with at least 3 servers loadbalanced using the same cache storage

We are providing only VOD videos

We are looking for someone who can do that job (wowza config and cloudformation templates or other configuration tool - or a howto in order to simplify wowza version updates).

Thanks !

Hello,

Wowza updates have been simplified recently, but there is always a possibility to streamline the process even further. We have a lot of experience with load balancing, both via Wowza’s load balancer and external load balancing software, and have also worked a lot with AWS and content on S3.

As you mentioned yourself, having media cache store on S3 may not be the best choice, but this is something we can discuss in more details. Feel free to contact us at wowza@siggdev.com - we’d be happy to help you.

Kind regards,

SiggDev
