# Wowza license usb dongle issue with AnyWhereUSB

Hello,

One of our customer are using Wowza usb license dongle on a Windows 2012 VM machine via AnyWhereUSB hub on a network, unfortunately they can not get it work, here is the error log. :

ERROR server comment 2016-12-14 13:28:24 - - - - - 2.813 - - - - - - - - The Wowza Media Systems Software licensing system has determined that your license key is not able to authenticate against the usb key hardware licensing system, please visit [https://www.wowza.com/subscriptionsupport.php](https://www.wowza.com/subscriptionsupport.php) for up to date information.

ERROR server comment 2016-12-14 13:28:24

The license dongle works with local usb port. The device manager gives the detected device name “USB Input Device”.

The VM machine which using the AnyWhereUSB attached dongle also detects the device name “USB Input Device”.

Could you help to solve the issue?

This issue would handled best by [submitting a support request](https://www.wowza.com/support/open-ticket). Please also confirm in the ticket you create if you have seen/reviewed the installation guide that outlines the process and files needed to set this up.
