# wowza cloud api plan

Hi

I’d like to know if in order to use the api plan, I have also to take another plan (24/7 or pay-as-you-go)?

Because in the doc , it refers in ‘billing\_mode’ parameter only to pay\_as\_you\_go and twentyfour\_seven. I am assuming that one should pick pay\_as\_you\_go (transcoder \> billing\_mode)

Hello KV,

You are correct. If you have not specifically purchase a ‘twentyfour\_seven’ plan, you will use the ‘pay\_as\_you\_go’ option in your REST API commands.
