Can some one explain how I am to copy my JKS into the server. I have followed the directions but the directories don’t exist. How do I find my install directory? **[_install-dir_]/conf**

Hello James,

In your EC2 instance, if it is Linux based, this directory will be under:
/usr/local/WowzaStreamingEngine/conf
if it is Windows Based it will be under:
C: Program Files (x86)/Wowza Media Systems/Wowza Streaming Engine

the use of [install-dir] is to represent the Installation directory.

I do hope this helps

Sincerely,

Thank you so much Jason. Is it better to connect via SSH than the AMI connection?

This information is also documented in [Understanding Wowza Streaming Engine](https://www.wowza.com/docs/understanding-wowza-streaming-engine#install-directory). There’s a lot of helpful contextual information in that article.
