I’ve written my own RTMP server and attempted to play a stream from it within GoCoder SDK. The error I received is

```auto
E/WMSTransport: Protocol invalid, not WOWZ. (error code: 3)
E/d: Protocol invalid, not WOWZ.
```

While I do use Wowza for ingest and packetizing, I do not use Wowza for playback. I use my own RTMP server software that I wrote. I know WOWZ is backward compatible with RTMP, is there a configuration setting I’m missing within the SDK? Or is this by design to prevent the SDK being used with non Wowza server software?

Hi @Mark Vaughn, great question and the answer is that yes the GoCoder SDK is only for use with Wowza Streaming Engine or Wowza Streaming Cloud.

Let me know if you have any other questions- thanks!
