# What should I do with UBS Wowza?

Hello.

I’m an employee at CASTWARE in Korea.

A customer purchased a USB-based Wowza in September 2020 and wants to upgrade to the latest version. How can I do this? For example, can I simply upgrade to the latest version?

Thank you for contacting Wowza via our forum. To update the Wowza Streaming Engine software, you will need to have a maintenance and support package for your perpetual license. When you have one, you’ll be able to download the updater when logging into your account portal.
