# What encoder (i.e. free) to use other than Telestream?

We just started looking into Wowza as we heard very good things, can someone please tell me what other encoders are supported by Wowza? we saw the demo and it’s using Telestream, which is currently sold at $449, too expensize for a non-profit org.

Also, is there anyone who would like to help us to set up end-to-end for video stream? if so, please add your contact so we can contact you directly. Many thanks.
