# WebRTC stream not working through firefox and Edge browsers

Hi Team,
I am able to publish stream through Chrome browser but i am not able to stream through Firefox and Edge browser, here is server log when i try to publish stream through firefox

My guess you’ve set up WebRTC to use TCP. Try to switch to UDP.

Thank you @Karel Boek-Senior Consultant, by switching to UDP it worked for Firefox but not for Microsoft Edge, any ideas …

This is the same issue we are facing with FireFox since version 4.8.0, even after upgrading to 4.8.5 and using only UDP. Tested on the default webrtc server application and publishing pages on our own server and the ones hosted by Wowza but WebRTC connection on FireFox is still a hit and miss where it is able to hold the connection for 5 seconds to 3 minutes if you get lucky after a server restart but that’s about it. Works well on Chrome, IOS Safari and Android Chrome/Native Browser. We had a ticket about this that went a long way even on beta releases but did not solve the issue ☹

The ticket you had for this issue @Randy Vinas showed we made 6 attempts to contact you and requested files to which we received no response. Did they perhaps go to your spam email? Ticket # 353120 I can see each of the 6 emails that was sent to you.
