# WebRTC - h264 Main Profile

Does Wowza support h264 profiles besides baseline in WebRTC? The decoders in FF and Chrome can handle a wide range of h264 profiles. If not, is it on the roadmap? My main use case is replacing Flash player for viewing Teradek (and other) generated streams. Some of these streams are Main Profile and can’t be changed without transcoding.

Hello @mark gamache

This will come down to what browsers are supporting for WebRTC playback. For main profile to be played back without transcoding, you will need Constrained Baseline 3.1 a subset of Main Profile.

Can the Wowza transcoder produce Constrained Baseline 3.1?
