What is the best way to add security to the webcamrecording example on streaming engine? I tried the secureToken route (which I think worked on older server versions), but no luck now?

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

J

Hello there and welcome tot he Wowza support forum.

For securing a Flash application that publishes you have two options. [ModuleOnConnectAuthenticate](https://www.wowza.com/docs/how-to-do-file-based-rtmp-authentication-with-netconnection-connect-onconnectauthenticate) is one. Or you can use [ModuleSecureURLParams](https://www.wowza.com/docs/how-to-secure-publishing-from-an-rtmp-encoder-that-does-not-support-authentication-modulesecureurlparams%28ModuleSecureURLParams%29), which is also part of the MediaSecurity Addon package.

Kind regards,

Salvadore
