# Webcam Recorder Widget

Wowza doesn’t have one, but maybe someone else around here has encountered something.

Start with the VideoRecording example that ships with Wowza, in the examples folder. And see this tutorial:

Maybe I’m not correctly understanding what exactly you’re trying to do. Are you looking for some flash code that runs on the client side, or looking to record on the server?

You could use a live-recorder application type if you’re trying to do it on the server.

I was using this one with my red5 server and it works fairly well. Can this be used in WOWZA. The files that it comes with are the recorder.swf and a config.xml

If you’ve bought the widget and the say it works with Wowza, check the docs or ask them… should be easy.

I’ve just bought and installed AVChat HQ… [http://hdfvr.com/](http://hdfvr.com/) - worked immediately 🙂
