# Updates to Wowza Streaming Engine integration with Wowza Video

We’re happy to announce the following updates to the integration of Wowza Streaming Engine with Wowza Video:

**UI**  
Hybrid cloud services bring you the power of Wowza Streaming Engine (WSE) and cloud services. You can use our:  
• Wowza Flowplayer player in Wowza Video.  
• Real-time and historic analytics in Wowza Video.  
• Quality of experience metrics.

Note: You must be a WSE user with a Wowza Video subscription to use the Wowza player, real-time and historic analytics, and quality of experience metrics together with WSE. Contact our sales team for more information.

The following hybrid cloud services workflow now applies:

**2.0 API**  
We’ve added ‘url\_suffix’ to the API reference. This is a path you make that’s appended to the end of the playback URL to make it a valid URL, to have playback with Wowza Flowplayer. ‘url\_suffix’ is in the following endpoints:

When you use a Wowza Streaming Engine instance custom origin URL on a Wowza CDN stream target with HLS playback, you must use a URL suffix to be able to have playback with our Wowza Flowplayer.
