18.04 is just days old. Give it a try in your test environment. Server setups are not all the same, they all depend on your setup

i have my dev servers running at 18.04. no comparising to our test or production servers, but so far no issues.
im also running/testing with ssl. only downside on that is more ram usage because of the encryption. but that is not a problem of the OS version.

Joreonvan… Thanks for the response. Our situation is the same except we are running our in full production
