Hi,

I’m trying to reduce the stream publishing time.

Is it possible and How ?

I think it means reducing buffer of wowza rtsp source in my case.

I’ve already found this page [https://www.wowza.com/docs/how-to-do-performance-tuning](https://www.wowza.com/docs/how-to-do-performance-tuning)

and try to reduce this values :

32000

32000

32000

But I think it is at socket level,

I would like to change it at the rtsp protocol level.

Is it possible to indicate the size of the rtsp buffer when wowza try to load a rtsp stream as source ?

Nicolas

Hi Nicolas,

There’s not a lot of RTSP tuning that can be done. I’d suggest looking at the [RTSP/RTP re-streaming article](https://www.wowza.com/docs/how-to-re-stream-video-from-an-ip-camera-rtsp-rtp-re-streaming%28RTSP-RTP-re-streaming%29#RTPTransportMode) which has a few RTSP specific parameters you can adjust. Also [this article](https://www.wowza.com/docs/how-to-specify-per-stream-settings-in-stream-files#rtspstreams) lists the available RTSP options for stream files.

Regards,

Paul
