# Troubles when bitrate of incoming streams more than 10 mbps

Hello! Streaming applications drops bitrate when i stream to wowza rtmp with bitrate more than 10 mbps. It seems like wowza has any bitrate limit for incoming streams.

Hello @Maks Russkikh,

Wowza Engine does not limit the incoming stream bitrate, the difference of the bitrate (I’m assuming you are looking at your encoder settings vs the bitrate that Wowza is reporting) would be due to other factors like content of your video and encoding technologies as well as available network throughput on the encoder outbound and Wowza inbound interfaces.
