# TranscodingSession.shutdown

how can i know when

```auto
TranscodingSession.shutdown

```

appears in error logs

i want to detect and restart wowza when that happens

or restart that application

Hello,

You might want to look into using the ILiveStreamTranscoderNotify or ILiveStreamTranscoderActionNotify interfaces to help you achieve this with a custom module. If you could explain further the reason why you’d want to restart the application upon seeing this message, we may be able to suggest other ways of correcting the source issue.
