# Transcoder recording (move the index segment of the mp4 file in the front)

Hello,

we use the transcoder and record the qualities on different .mp4 files using the live-record app.

We then automatically copy those files on S3.

When we open those files directly on e.g. JW Player (flash based, not html5) the player downloads all the file and then starts playing.

Can we force Wowza to move the index segment of the mp4 file in the front automatically before closing the .mp4?

There is not a way to do that in Wowza, but there are post-process tools for moving the moov atom to beginning of the file so that progressive-download playback will work.
