Using a 30-day demo license, the web interface reports this: Transcoder: **Not Available** DRM: Licensed nDVR: Licensed Before Streaming Engine 4.0 I was able to use the Transcoder AddOn with a demo license. Has this changed? ---

Johan, The Transcoder AddOn is available with a trial license key. There are also hardware and OS requirements that must be met. Dear Wowza support I evaluation the wowza streaming engine (installed at 64bits linux) (should have 1 transcoder license), but seemed transcoder did not work. I haven’t worked with Wowza on OSX before this, so I might be missing something obvious. I’m running it on a Macbook Pro 15" (late 2013). **Edit:** I just see now that the Transcoder AddOn doesn’t work on OSX. 😛 ---

Hi, Transcoder works on x64 (64 bit OS) only, even if available with the license. Don’t know specifically about your specific Mac OS Sincerely Inderjeet ---
