Hello.

Currently, I am receiving RTMP video streams using Wowza and streaming the video via WebRTC on the web, but the speaker icon on the video tag is disabled.

When I play the RTSP or RTMP video from Wowza’s test playback using VLC player, it shows the errors: “error: failed to create audio output” and “error: module not functional.”

However, when I record the stream using Wowza and save the file after stopping, the audio is heard in the saved file.

What might be the issue, and how can I resolve it?

Your source audio is probably not encoded for WebRTC. We outline the workflow here: [Ingest RTSP, SRT, or RTMP streams into Wowza Streaming](https://www.wowza.com/docs/ingest-rtsp-srt-or-rtmp-streams-into-wowza-streaming-engine-for-playback-with-webrtc)
