# streaming video over checkpoint firewall to an ipad

Hi - I am wondering if anyone has a working setup that allows for streaming video to an ipad using wowza 3.5 through the checkpoint firewall. We have the checkpoint ssl extender setup but have been unable to get this to work and are testing wowza to see its capabilities. If our web app using wowza is outside the firewall we are able to stream video. Not sure if anyone has encountered this issue. Thank you for any help!

Hi

Be sure that you have configured the firewall so that port 1935, 443, 80 are open to the server.

You could try removing SSL for the time being to get it working and then add it back when you know the configuration of the firewall is correct.

This should allow you to narrow down the problem.
