# Streaming to VLC using RTSP?

Hi,

Wowza Streaming Cloud provides Apple HLS and Adobe HDS playback streams. Unfortunately we do not provide RTSP playback streams. VLC should be able to play the HLS streams without any issue though.

Hi

api users can now connect directly to the transcoder using rtsp or rtmp.

You would need to apply for the api program and then read out the addition playback url options from the transcoder details.

You can set the transcoder to allow up to 100 concurrent rtsp connections
