# Streaming Engine stream used as a multicast source

I want to use Wowza Streaming Engine software to push a (RTP RTSP) stream to multicast enable network.
Is that possible?
The network is multicast enabled and uses a Windows Media Services 9 for this.
Wowza SME will replace the old media server but still want to have multicast as an option

Thanks for the feedback I saw that article which gave me the idea that it might be possible and I seen in other descriptions that Wowza can stream to a “multicast network” but nothing specific. I guess I will be testing it soon and I will share my results.
