# Storing extra information about stream clients

Hi!

I wrote a small article on something I found quite useful when developing custom modules for Wowza… It is about [attaching arbitrary meta-information](http://wowzatoolbox.com/stream-client-attributes) to your stream’s clients that you can use later for pretty much anything. In my case I used it in Wowza Wrench to store the usernames of the authenticated clients. Hope it helps other developers too.
