That is strange only 2-5% of your users receive the crossdomain error.
Have you checked out JWPlayer’s information on crossdomains? Located HERE If you haven’t already contacted JWPlayer support, I would do so and see what they suggest.
Have you found any pattern on the users that receive the error? Specific location, specific browser, specifig device?
Sounds like the issue is very hard to reproduce.
This does not sound like a Wowza issue, because it is only 2-5% of your users.
