Hi

I am at step 2 of 3 in my goal list.

Step 1, create a single RTMP bitrate live stream and play in JW Player ( complete)

Step 2, create adaptive RTMP live streaming to JW Player (now stuck)

Step 3, create adaptive RTMP plus HLS streaming to JW Player ( next )

Step 2. I have setup my application folder, done the transcoder setup. I have created a smil file and placed in the content folder. I am now stuck what to do next. How do I tell the transcoder to send to streams to the smil file… and then how to I map the path of this smil file to JW Player. I look in the guides but this part seems to be lacking

Appreciate your help.

For step 2-3:

The smil file will reference the transcoded renditions and determine playback based on the bitrates detailed within it.

My problem with this was solved. I thought Wowza automatically created the smil files, since solved and completed all steps.
