Hello.

I have a question regarding the dvr and HDS live as reduce the file size abst (playlist) in NDVR during a live broadcast for at that moment at length dvr to 24 have the file size 246KB ☹ So at times it takes a few seconds. And I noted that on pages with such transmissions at my files are to max 2KB.

Thanks for your help.

Hello there and Welcome to the Wowza support forum.

With dvr, the playlists will reference the complete dvr window duration so for a 24hr window, it would be quite large and for live, will update continuously.

For this reason, Wowza recommends smaller window durations.

Kind regards,

Salvadore
