Hi there!
We are looking for a new server software for our streaming server and so I would like to ask you a few questions.
We are using the Shibboleth log-in system at our institution. Is it connectable with Wowza? That would be very important for us.
Is the source code accessible after purchasing the Wowza Streaming Engine?

Hi,
Wowza uses a simple authentication system to manage access to the Engine Manager, publisher credentials etc. I’m not aware of any third-party integration to Shibboleth, but you may be able to add another layer in front of say the Wowza Streaming Engine Manager at the HTML layer to provide protection. It’s also possible to extend the publisher validation layer via [ModuleRTMPAuthenticate](https://www.wowza.com/docs/how-to-integrate-wowza-user-authentication-with-external-authentication-systems-modulertmpauthenticate%2528ModuleRTMPAuthenticate%2529).
We do not provide the source code for Wowza Streaming Engine. We do provide source for the many custom modules and other [server-side layers](https://www.wowza.com/docs/wowza-streaming-engine-java-api).
