hi
I would like to get more detail about server requirement :
ingest 3-4 h264/h265 1080p25-30
output h264 1080p + transcoded 720p 360p 240p
dvr (4 hours duration)
expected max 3k viewers
hls + rtmp (and rtmpt)
I read your documentations about benchmarks but they don’t take into account the amount of users
So what can you advise me as hardware (physical / virtual), cpu, ram, hd, network…

Hello,
I see that this question was discussed in a ticket with support. I am passing along the following from that discussion.
The most accurate way to ensure the server is capable of transcoding the sources you indent to ingest/transcode would be to run a benchmark test against that server with your sources. Please see an article below for more information and details.

If the server is capable of transcoding these sources concurrently, I then recommend running a load test against the server while it’s transcoding to represent the production environment.
