# Send from WSE to Zixi Broadcaster

Greetings all –

I am looking to send from my Wowza Streaming Engine to an implementation of Zixi Broadcaster as a means for a back up feed. I know there is integration to receive a Zixi stream, but can I send a stream that Zixi Broadcaster will accept?

Hi Brent,

Yes, you can send a stream from Wowza Streaming Engine to Zixi Broadcaster using RTMP, as long as Zixi is set up to accept RTMP ingest.

You can do this by creating a **Generic RTMP stream target** in Wowza. Here’s a guide that walks you through the setup:

Just make sure the Zixi Broadcaster is configured to receive RTMP (including port, stream name, and any authentication), and Wowza will push the stream to it like any other RTMP destination.
