# Segment Expiry in Wowza cloud HLS stream

Hi,

We have configured wowza cloud to stream HLS. We want to adjust segment expiry and segment duration for the same. For wowza streaming server, we could achieve desired segment size and segment expiry by configuring as explained here: [https://www.wowza.com/docs/how-to-configure-apple-hls-packetization-cupertinostreaming](https://www.wowza.com/docs/how-to-configure-apple-hls-packetization-cupertinostreaming)

Can the same parameters be also specified for wowza cloud HLS stream? Please let us know.

Hello,

Currently it is not possible to se/modify the media segment expiry duration for streams delivered through the Wowza Streaming Cloud platform. This is a feature currently on our roadmap, but there is no definite timeframe set on when this will become available.
