# RTSP link works on VLC but not on Wowza

Hello,
When I pull rtsp stream from HikVision camera the VLC player works and the Wowza doesn’t.
I receive the error message: “RTPSessionDescriptionDataProviderBasicRTSPWorker.doConnect: Connect org.apache.mina.common.RuntimeIOException: Failed to get the session[ConnectException: Connection refused: no further information]”.
What should I do?

@Idan Sh does your HikVision camera have a username/password; and if so, have you specified that in the .stream file?

yes it does and i specified it in the stream file

And there are no unusual chars in the user/pass that may cause trouble when parsing the stream file?
