# RTMP Video Stream --\> Audio Only MP3 / OGG

Greetings! I am streaming a FLIX encoded live video stream. I also want to provide an audio only stream via a simple embedded HTML MP3 player. Is it possible to use the existing video stream and also send out an audio only stream w/ Wowza?

In a Flash client you can use NetStream.receiveVideo(false).

This does affect what the server actually sends. Not sure if you can set it server-side though, not that I know.

Yes you can do audio only. There is nothing different really except that you are only publishing audio from your encoder.

do you know some free encoder to stream audio-only (like OBS)?
