# Restreaming from an external provider

Hi Everyone,

```
I need restreaming a signal from a external provider. The provider wants me to send him an URL and theirs keys so that he can generate the restreaming signal. How do I do this on wowza streaming engine server?

 Once the signal is on my wowza server, I would need restreaming the signal by enabling a link in a website for the video. What are the steps to do that (one by one please)?

You can let the provider push the stream over RTMP to your Wowza server; give them the URL of your server, application and the desired stream name. If you have Source Authentication enabled for the application, you must also create a publisher name and password for the provider (in the Engine Manager under Server \> Source Auth)

```auto
rtmp://{server-ip-or-fqdn}/{application-name}/{stream-name}
// e.g.
rtmp://myserver.mydomain.tld/live/provider_stream_1
```
