# Restream HLS to flash dvr (rtmp?) with abs timecodes

I’ve got an interesting situation where i need to play a dvr hls stream in a flash player.

I have no control over the source stream so can’t add crossdomain files.

Is it possible to point Wowza at an existing muxed hls stream and have it ingest it as it’s own asset?

Ideally maintaining timecode information for the original stream?

Hi,

Wowza doesn’t support Apple HLS streams as input. You will not be able to ingest your HLS stream into Wowza.

Ok, I could pipe the video through VLC and stream it in as a transport stream in that case. Is it possible to support DVR playback to RTMP?

The DVR playback is only supported for HTTP based streaming protocols: Apple HLS, Adobe HDS and Silverlight Smoothstream
