# Remote captions files

Hi,

is there possibility how to load captions files for videos from remote server? Or can not be used media cache only for captions files?

It works well on iOS7 over HLS if the captions file is in a same location as video file on wowza server, but I have captions files on different server (accessible over http) and I can not copy it simply to wowza server.

MediaCache would be an option, you would just need to store the videos along-side the caption files on the http server.

Right, no, there is not a way to do this at present.

So there is no possibility to have video files on wowza server and captions files on different http server accessible through media cache? Both captions and video files have to be on same server.
