Hi i have a source m3u8 stream and i want to convert this to mp3 or aac on a permanent basis, so its running in the background. The other idea is to use the stream and place it directly on a URL. when someone goes to the URL it starts playing. is that an option\> ---

With a “source m3u8” do you mean a live stream or a playlist? If it’s a live stream then you can relay it via Wowza Cloud or Wowza Streaming Engine. If it’s a playlist, then you can either let the clients play the playlist on demand, or you can schedule the playlist as a simulated live stream with [https://www.wowza.com/docs/how-to-schedule-streaming-with-wowza-streaming-engine-streampublisher](https://www.wowza.com/docs/how-to-schedule-streaming-with-wowza-streaming-engine-streampublisher) ---
