# Recording from Axis Camera - out of sync

Hi again.
We’ve noticed that live streams from our Axis V5915 network camera (with XLR inputs) to Wowza Streaming Engine 4.2.0 are perfectly in sync when we view them on a web page.
But…when we _record_ the stream in Wowza ( live \> Incoming Streams, then click the red circle) to an .mp4, the audio is slightly ahead (maybe .5 sec?) of the video.

It’s a 1080p stream, 29.97fps.

Hello,
You may want to update your Wowza Streaming Engine instance to the latest or at least 4.4.0 as there were some fixes for audio sync and live stream recording that may improve your recordings. See the following release notes:
