# Recording database timestemps

Hi

Is it possible to make a recording according to timestemps i have on my database…?

I guess it is possible but maybe you can guide from where to start

You can use [this example as a starting place](https://www.wowza.com/docs/how-to-start-and-stop-live-stream-recordings-programmatically-imediastreamactionnotify3%28IMediaStreamActionNotify3%29). You would have to add a JDBC connector to query the database before you start to record.
